Aaron Gibbons and his family live in South Jordan, Utah. Brother Gibbons was a missionary serving here in South Africa in 1998-2000. He brought his wife back in 2020 for the Temple Dedication. Last Tuesday he brought his 17-year old son Noah to the Durban temple to do baptisms. They said, we want to do as many baptisms as we can! Doug and I were privileged to be serving in the baptistry and got to know them quite well as they took turns baptizing each other. Since they are from South Jordan, I asked them if they knew any Caldwell’s since my brother and many of his family live in South Jordan. Noah perked up and said, “I know Averie Caldwell! I went to prom with her last year!” Averie is my cute niece!! Such a small world and I love that Heavenly Father is a Master of divine positioning. Loved meeting Averie’s good friend in Africa on the Lord’s errand.
Brother Gibbons says he will be back soon when awesome Noah goes on his mission, to bring his other son (currently on a mission) to experience the amazing spirit of South Africa!
