Hand-trimming the lawn — not a blade out of place ! Scissors are used to shape the lawn edges, curved to gradually blend the side with the top! This has to be back-breaking work but the end result is heavenly!!
The bird of paradise flowers are native to the KwaZulu-Natal area and are the inspiration for the vibrant stained glass windows in the temple. The South Africans call it by its real name…
