The Layton’s arrived Thursday, so all three couples are here at last: the Loveridge’s, the Nelson’s and the Layton’s!! We’re heading off to church in the van. It’s a 30 minute drive from Umhlanga to the ward house in Durban—a little longer if you make a wrong turn. Or in our case a little shorter if you accidentally find a short cut! We leave early and are in good company so it’s all good. We are certain to start with prayer on our journey to church on the wrong side of the road!
We have about a dozen young missionaries in our ward. These young men are doing a great job and there were lots of investigators attending the ward today!! It’s really wonderful!
Meet Elder Christensen from Kaysville, Utah! He knows my sister, Barb Astle and her family.
…
…and Elder Durphey from Lehi, Utah who lives next door to my other sister Patti and her family! Small world!! These young men are so awesome, out here serving Lord and their fellowmen!
My friend Michelle Frost just told me yesterday her grandson, Shanda’s son, Cruz McHenry, has been called to the Durban South Africa mission arriving in April! So exciting!! I’ll post a picture later when he gets here!!
